A Phipps Proposal: Hannah & John

When John approached me to help plan his proposal to Hannah, I was over the moon excited. Love is in the air, and when you get the chance to capture such a special moment, it’s really an honor. However, with a rain forecast looming over our heads, we had to make a few quick adjustments to ensure everything went smoothly.

The original plan was to take advantage of Point State Park. Unfortunately, the weather had other ideas. We decided to shift the proposal indoors, where the lush greenery and vibrant flowers would still provide a stunning backdrop. As we navigated through the crowds of visitors seeking refuge from the rain, the excitement began to build. When the moment finally came, I could feel the anticipation in the air. John got down on one knee, and as he opened the ring box, time seemed to stand still. Hannah's reaction was priceless—her eyes widened with surprise and joy, and I managed to capture every second of it! With a heartfelt ‘yes,’ the crowd around us clapped and cheered.

It turns out that Phipps was a very special place to Hannah while growing up and it was the perfect place for her to get engaged. While the forecast might have posed some challenges, it also turned out to be an unexpected blessing, ensuring that the proposal was truly special. John and Hannah’s love story is now forever intertwined with this beautiful day at the Phipps Conservatory, rain and all.
